ASSESSMENT. ANALYSIS. AUTONOMY
The 360 Behavior Consulting Approach to Therapeutic Consulting in Virginia.
Therapeutic Behavior Consulting is a service available to individuals on either the CL or FIS Virginia Developmental Disabilities Waiver. Our behavior consultation service begins with an initial assessment to determine the motivation behind the behaviors of concern. We then collaborate with the individual and their multidisciplinary team to create a positive behavior support plan that is rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and guided by reinforcement. Our plans aim to reduce interfering or challenging behaviors across various environments while increasing prosocial behaviors.
At Behavior Consulting 360, our approach includes implementing interventions consistently and proactively, finding meaningful replacement behaviors that align with motivation, and increasing functional communication. Our method empowers individuals to express their desires and requirements while retaining autonomy in their lives. With backgrounds in special education, our team skillfully teaches and models interventions across various settings.
We prioritize proactive interventions, skill development, and collaboration with all members of the ISP team for lasting behavior change.

-
To initiate services, either the individual, guardian, or Support Coordinators may submit a request for services form using this link: https://intakeq.com/new/p8bw9v/5spnba or schedule a meet and greet with us to ask any questions and determine if you would like to move forward with services.
-
Once the request for services with 360 Behavior Consulting is received, we will meet as a multidisciplinary team to discuss goals for services and to develop a person-centered plan for support.
-
Once the plan for support is approved through the Department of Behavioral Health and Services (DBHDS), the BCBA will begin the assessment process by getting to know the individual and all members of the team, conducting observations across a variety of settings, and creating a positive behavior support plan that is rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
